About Us
Textile Explorers meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm (except August and December) and the 1st Wednesday of the month in October, November, April and June to hear talks by practicing Textile Artists about their work and textile journey.
We cater for all abilities from relative beginners and enthusiastic amateurs, through to experienced stitchers.
We also hold regular workshops led by some of these speakers and other experienced tutors.

Membership
Full Membership gives you access to 14 talks per year – 7 “”In Person “ talks and 7 via Zoom.
If you live outside our area why not join us as a Virtual Member – 7 Zoom talks per year for a discounted rate.
If you live in our area but Zoom is not for you “In Person” Membership could be just the thing – 7 “In Person “ talks per year for a discounted rate.

Optional Extras
Informal stitch sessions:
Monday afternoons 1.30 – 3.30pm (weekly)
Monday stitch sessions in person at Chelford Village Hall, SK11 9AS – 1.30 -3.30pm, cost £3 a session.
At the slightly later time slot of 2.00 – 4.00 pm, the ZOOM stitch meetings will continue for those of you not able to attend in person, but will be independent of the in person meeting at Chelford.
Workshops
We also offer an extensive optional Workshop programme (for an additional fee), some are held in Cheshire and some are via Zoom. See our list of workshops here
