Angela Oswald – Workshop – Machine Embellishing
This workshop is aimed at refining the skills of mixing and blending wool tops with additional embellishments to achieve colourful and blended surfaces
These surfaces can be additionally used for collage and applique which can be further enhanced with hand and machine stitching .
Equipment
Embellishing machine, spare needles, extension cable, scissors
Wool tops in an assortment of colours as many or whatever you have available. We will be using the colours of the landscape for inspiration
Nylon nets the type that under skirts are made from not net curtains, in whatever colours you have available. You will need roughly ½ a metre but can be made up of smaller pieces
*I will have both wool and net available for purchase
Additional in small quantities, if you have them but not necessary, silk tops, wool nepps, sari silk and chiffon scarves.
Please bring your own lunch. There will be tea / coffee and biscuits provided.
NB. All electrical equipment you bring to the workshop, MUST have a current PAT certificate.

The fee is non-refundable if you cancel (unless another person can take your place.)
We occasionally have a waiting list for a workshop and if that is the case your place would be offered to the next person on the list. If there isn’t a waiting list then you might know someone who could take your place.
With this in mind, please let Bookings know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.
