An in-depth look at the many fabric books that Bernice has made. She make books in a variety of ways and these processes will be explained as we look at each book.
About the Artist
Bernice trained as a primary school teacher and later became a church administrator. She now concentrates on all things creative including facilitating a course on Creativity.
After successfully completing City & Guilds Creative Embroidery, she continued to work with textiles until Art Journaling and Mixed Media called.
Bernice particularly enjoys making books both in card and fabric and has taught online workshops on altered books and themed books via recorded videos. She also works with textiles, often involving the themes of canals or Venice. More recent work has become more personal.
