A presentation of Jane’s work focusing on recent textile projects. A powerpoint showing drawing through to textiles and how the process of making works for Jane. Followed by a look at lots of samples and examples for everyone to handle and discuss. Lots of sketchbooks to look at to see where ideas start.
About Jane
| Jane Is a member of the 62 Group and the Textile Study Group. She has been making textile works since graduating from Goldsmiths College and Manchester School of Art. Jane Taught Embroidery for 30 years at Manchester school of Art where she became Associate Head of Design. In 2019, Jane left to work full time as an artist. She has a studio at Suite Studios in Salford and exhibits widely.
