DESCRIPTION:Despite stitching since I was a child\, it was only after I gave up work that I discovered what I really wanted to do was work with textiles in some form or other.  The presentation documents the path I took to finally achieve some of my ambitions \nAbout Jane \n\n\n\nI have been creating since I was a teenager when I started by making my own clothes and later designed and made wedding attire including tiaras which were featured in leading bridal magazines. \nAfter taking early retirement and moving to Shropshire\, I completed a City & Guilds in Creative Techniques in Textiles and gained a Distinction at Westhope College. \nI created my Teacup Trees for the 300th anniversary of the birth of Capability Brown which was celebrated by the Embroiders’ Guild in 2016.
