Workshop title: Moyozashi (pattern) sashiko embroidery

Introduction to Moyozashi Sashiko: History, types, with examples of the different types presented and explained.
Marking up of the patterns using the tools and patterns provided.
Explanation of how to stitch Moyozashi sashiko patterns with guidance on starting and finishing knots and how to achieve a clean result.
If students do not complete their project during the session, they will be able to complete it at home with the materials afterwards.
1-2 patterns will be sewn depending on the speed of the sewers.
An explanation of how to mark up all the provided patterns will be provided.
