ZOOM Workshop by Angie Hughes – “Bags of Klimt”

During this workshop you will make a bag using designs gleaned from the artist Gustav Klimt. You will use transfer foiling and simple collage techniques to establish a design on black cotton velvet, cover with organza and machine embroider, then make up the piece into a bag shape. Angie will create an easy one and a slightly more advanced one.
About the Tutor
Angie has been creating and teaching textile art for nearly 20 years. She lives in Ledbury Herefordshire, she is inspired by wild gardens which she has, plant forms and wonderful colour combinations….
